The tigress that charged

This tiger's mother killed some villagers, fed them to her cubs and was then shot. Her siblings died without their mother feeding them. She was caught running through a village and, for public safety (once a tiger tastes human flesh they want more) was put into the enclosure she has lived in for several years.

I was crouching down photographing her, camera pressed up to a gap in the thin wooden fence between us. Shortly after taking this she got up and I thought to myself "it looks like she's stalking something".

A split second later she ran at me and jumped up against the fence!

Naturally I jumped about 6 feet backwards, and was completely taken aback. Crazy mad experience!!
